I engaged Dixon Chan to renovate my apartment in Balmain NSW in Jan 2019. The renovationsentailed pretty much gutting the apartment, refurbishing the bathroom, kitchen, flooring, plumbing and electrical works

Dixon provided a detailed projection of the costs for the materials, labour, third-party trades, along with a projected timeline and schedule for the works. Dixon also provided detailed drawings for the design of the new bathroom and kitchen. Dixon's projections were very accurate, and it was clearly evident that he was extremely experienced with all facets of renovation work based on his recommendations. Dixon was also able to provide introductions to various suppliers throughout Sydney.

Dixon was involved hands on with nearly all facets of the renovation work, including initialdemolition and prep work, flooring, waterproofing, rendering, cementing, tiling, installation ofcabinetry and benches, etc. The only exception being the electrical and plumbing works whereby he deferred to third-party professionals. That said, Dixon coordinated these tradesmen, and based on the interactions with the various professionals it was clear that his experience was second to none.

In addition to Dixon's experience, his work was to a very high standard with a keen eye for detail. His problem-solving skills were also very note worthy. Dixon completed the works in the allocated timeframe, which in itself was extremely impressive given the obstacles that arose due to the age of the apartment.

I would without question recommend Dixon's services to anyone requiring renovation or buildingworks.

I approached Dixon Chan to carry out a renovation at my wife's property located at Jenkins St,Collaroy. Dixon then inspected & measured the kitchen area. After a couple discussions, Dixon he had several scale drawings including a couple of options for layout to accommodate a common services duct, protruding from an internal wall.

Together with his all-round knowledge of building and problem solving skills, the complete Reno was finished in less than a week (including floor & wall tiles, cabinets, draws & bench tops along with all fixtures and fittings) . A great result and a very happy client.We were so happy, that we flew Dixon up to Rockhampton to carry out a pre-sale makeover ofanother property we were renting out. Nothing is too hard or too complicated for Dixon. Again,within a week the property was transformed. We have no hesitation in recommending Dixon Chan to anyone.
